kelkel2 Posted July 8, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2023 So I’m in the middle of a divorce, and I paid to take my soon to be ex’s name off the cruise. I’d like to take someone else with me, but I haven’t decided who that will be. When do you have to have that decision made? Is it by final payment? Check in? the cruise isn’t until June 2024 so there’s still time, but I just didn’t want to mess it up and not do it in time.
Rare lazydayz Posted July 9, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 9, 2023 I would guess by the final payment date.
PaulMedik Posted July 9, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2023 I have three bookings for later this month and each one has a TBA and one of them has two TBA. I am guessing I'll need to fill them in prior to filling out boarding passes two weeks out.

Yes, you will need to confirm who is going before check in.
Gamecock_Cruiser Posted July 10, 2023 #5 Share Posted July 10, 2023 You have to add it before you can complete your online check in two weeks prior to sailing.
Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted July 10, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 10, 2023 As someone who does check-in for cruise lines, it's hard not to give a 'side-eye' to a guy who shows up at the cruise terminal with his traveling companion who is listed as TBD. It's like, "Dude, really? You waited until the last minute to decide who you were going to take on this cruise?" You never see women showing up with a TBD guest.
