Zaandam - Gym Questions

Couple of questions re the Zaandam gym equipment. 

 

1. Does the gym have free weights available? 
2. Is there a weight measuring scale? (This is not for over-eating in the buffet, more for tracking a  drug side effect).

Yes, there are free weights.  The scale is available at the entry desk, for you it is a snap as it states the weight in KG.  For us US folks we need to pull out our phone to convert to pounds.

lol  I was expecting to have to translate pounds - but Kgs work better!

The scale can be set depending on what measurement you want it to read. 

 

You will probably want to weigh multiple times a day as the scale can be affected by ship motion. But at least you'll have a rough range if that is what you need.

Fair enough re ship movement - its just a rough comparative thing to pick up rapid unexpected weight gain

Weigh yourself while the ship is nearly motionless while docked.
