No dueling pianos???

I read on social media that Rotterdam has no piano.  Please tell me HAL isn’t discontinuing the piano bar/dueling piano entertainment!!!

There were duelling pianos in May on Rotterdam.

There are dueling pianos set up in Billboard Onboard. There is also a lonely piano covered in the back of an empty seating area in what appears to be an area previously allocated to the Lincoln Center Stage.  Today’s Navigator schedule shows 7:15 pm, On Music Walk: The 1960s in Billboard Onboard. I will try to stop by and see if the piano players are playing.

Pianos were very busy on our March sailing.    All 3 areas where live music were busy and great every night!  

 

For sure hope HAL does not mess up an advantage they have with this arrangement.

Hi we are going on the Nieuw Statadam in a few weeks, both of our ships ships will be together on October 21, 22 in Istanbul

And October 23 in Mykonos.

We call the ships our 2nd Home. Which we spend over 7 months a year on.

This is a picture of the 2 nested pianos in Billboard last night on the Rotterdam.  Not quite the energetic dueling pianos I remember in the past, but 2 pianos and two singers.  The nice thing is that the the performance is a comfortable volume.

We liked to sit in the Billboard Onboard side and listen to both pianos and the rock and roll group.  Also enjoyed the blues group past the glass doors, but have to move to hear/see them.
