10% off promo for norwegian?

I heard of an american receive a 10% off promo code in the mail and wonder if any canadians received it. This may be too much to hope for on top of amex promo but just checking.

@latebuyer I just got an email from Norwegian offering 35% off all cruises. The only asterix is 20% gratuities apply on: Free Unlimited Open Bar; Free Specialty Dining. Free 3rd & 4th Guests on select cruises. (I don't know how you apply 20% gratuities to free anything, but whatever.)

 

Good for 14 more hours.

The gratuity on "free" stuff has been Norwegian practice for some time. It is a non trivial amount for the "unlimited" bar. I believe around CA$28 per person per day.

Might have been a Casinos at Sea offer. NCL do not issue promo codes. I know that Carnival do, but rarely.  Ive read quite a few times that in the US there is a way to buy a gift card at a discounted cost and the gift card can be applied to the cost of cruise fare and/or used for OBC once on board. One of the organizations I see most often that offers this occasionally is AARP. And you don’t have to be 60 to join. Though I looked into that for a Carnival cruise on the CARP site and couldn’t find it. I did find one on a broker type site called Raise that was recommended but the cost of the deal was to get 500 value for 450 …admin fees made up the other 50. A lot of it is smoke and mirrors.

I've received the 10% off online -- it is an option during check out.  However, if you have FCC, you can only use one and then the 10% promo.

 

This does not happen all the time, it randomly occurs for me at least.

When you say you receive it online - is it there when you are logged in or do you get an email? Do you  see the offer when you get to the checkout point of booking?  

 

10% - nothing to sneeze at ...I'll off looking now.... 😃

It was on the payment page, when (if) you have those NCL certificates (I forget what they are called) you can select them to uses as your payment/deposit.
