OBC for gratuities

I think it depends on whether it is refundable or non-refundable. I had non-refundable credit last week on the Pearl and they would not let me use it for gratuities. They wouldn't let me use it towards cruisenext certificates either.

i always use the OBC to buy a $10.00 watch ( they used to be $10.00).  Cheaper than buying batteries these days.  I think the rules state that OBC cannot be used for daily gratuities, but not certain.  I believe, you can use it towards shore excursions purchased onboard.

Does anyone know if NCL allows OBC (onboard credit) to be used to pay the $20 pp/day gratuities at end of cruise?

Thanks!

it depends on whether or not it is refundable. Refundable OBC can be used for gratuities non refundable can't.
