Sky: Boarding Day Dining

Has anyone sailed on the Sky out of Miami lately?  I am trying to figure out if they offer lunch in one of the main dining rooms and if so, until when?

 

One of my favorite things about cruising is that very first meal.  After all the stress of getting to the port and getting checked in,  I love to go sit down in a restaurant and order a drink and a three course meal.  

 

I am trying to balance my lunch with a desire to get to the port a little later to avoid the early boarding chaos.

 

If we boarded after 1:00pm will we still be able to get lunch somewhere other than the buffet?

If you go directly to Palace, it's possible that you could still be seated for lunch.

* More than likely, it depends on when embarkation actually begins.

We sailed on the Sky out of Miami earlier this year.  One of the MDRs was open for lunch on embarkation day.

  With a sailaway of 4:00, our experience has been that one of the MDRs is open for lunch from 12:00-2:00.
