Southampton Hotels which include shuttle to port.

I have tried searching for this both here and on the web and while it brings up a list of hotels when you actually investigate none of them actually do a shuttle.  My logistics for next year are all a bit off.  Flying in from Edinburgh the day before the flight lands at 9.15 pm so I really just need a bed for the night.  Yes I know I could get a taxi but was just looking to see if there were any shuttles available.

I've never heard of a hotel with a shuttle service. Most of them that do parking packages provide a private taxi service.

Holiday Inn have a package for B&B that includes a taxi each way. However, it also includes parking which you don’t require but it might be worth a call to see if they would adjust the package. Sorry, I don’t know of any other hotel who provide transport to the pier.

Hilton Doubletree at Chilworth (wooded location on the city outskirts) includes a shuttle from Southampton airport.

But it's then a £10 to £15 taxi ride to a cruise terminal, so a net saving of only about £10 vs a taxi from the airport to a hotel close to the terminals.

 

There are frequent trains from Southampton airport to Southampton central station costing £10 for the ten-minute journey, and a selection of hotels just a few minutes walk from central station - and 15 to 25 minutes walk from several of the cruise terminals.
