Lobster, lobster, lobster...

Recommended Posts

They used to have crab legs in the specialty restaurants I think, but it is no longer on the menu (unless it has changed recently)... otherwise, I have never seen crab legs on the buffet... they do have seafood on the buffet, generally fish, shrimp, have seen scallops...

crab legs -- not even in the supper clubs no more.

Frogs legs yes...crab legs no.

You will find seafood dishes on the buffet-- NOt like pick and eat shrimp.

(try the shrimp wontons at the chinese window one day at lunch.

When we were on the Spirit in January, one of the options in the evening if you didn't want what was on the menu was "salmon". It was wonderful salmon!!!! My sister and I both ordered it a couple of times.

They had shrimp, lobster, talapia etc. Lots of seafood choices.

crap legs are served as appetizers

What do they do with the rest of the crab. And the rest of the frogs. Not to mention the rest of the Lobster

And speaking of lobster

If they offer twin lobster tails make sure they come from the same mother

Finally, If I were a lobster I would get out of Maine quickly.

Whatever you do, do not eat their version of Conch Fritters.

Tasted like feet...horrible horrible stuff. And I LOVE Conch Fritters and got so excited when I saw them on the buffet (the second day I think onboard the Miracle). BLAH!

Otherwise, everything else was great!

I think the Maine Lobsters are pretty safe. I've heard that they use warm water lobster tails in the dining room. The tails used in the supper clubs may be Maine tails.

Well I'll still hightail it out of Maine

Most lobster comes from the north-eastern coast of North America with the Canadian Maritimes and the U.S. state of Maine being the largest producers

Do I dare say I want a little (lobster)? No I better not
