5:30 pm Monday.  A tad cooler. Slight breeze, seas calm.  It has been a hazy day, muggy for our am stroll.  Got invite today for Alfresco dining for Wednesday at 8 pm.

Forgot to mention we spent time in the piano bar last night for the first time in years.   Good time, but a lousy pic.

Have I mentioned how much I love 4th floor VS and the wrap balconies?  Love sitting out hwre and watching the chop churn.

Are you on the pride or the legend? The legend shows running east from the US and has yet to turn north.

Lots going in today, will try and summarize.  Captain came on at noon, discussed weather and that we are still trying to get to Greenland.  Also discussed medical emergency with Coast Guard evac last night. During a open session with senior officers this afternoon, one question prompted him to go deeper.  We will decide later today but in addition to the hurricane there are two depressions with enough  wind weather heading to Greenland.  We most likely will get announcement later today that we will not fo and talk to options.  More to come.

Uggh. I hope they can find a way to make Greenland work for you since that is the whole point of the cruise. Maybe reversing the itinerary isn't an option anymore since, if I read your post right, Greenland may be a no-go?? That explains why you are showing drifting along at a leisurely pace of 10 knots.

@jimbo5544....fingers crossed for you...but IMO any cruise is better than no cruise, but I am sure you will have your fair share of complainers.  We know it is the Captain's job to keep everyone safe.

Probably will be a few lining up at guest services blaming Carnival and Joh Heald personally for the weather lol. Unfortunately there are always one or two. Im sure everyone on board will be disappointed if they can't make it. But hopefully the complainers will be very, very few.
