I love that tomato dish especially whatever that sauce is that it's in. Very good.

The chicken was still too dry but not as bad as last time. Such a shame because when it's not, that's a really nice piece of chicken.

The cake was very under done but that's how i like it.

Overall a good meal considering I really struggle with this particular menu.

I don’t know about that. Do you remember the elderly American a few years ago on a minibus trip in some rather violent South American country, who, when they were attacked by some muggers, was able to recall the training he had had in the Marine Corps sixty years before and strangle one of them with his bare hands?

If it's the same cruise, I was aboard - along with DH and my sons. It was Carnival Liberty in Costa Rica. No, we never met the passengers in question, but it was really weird to watch a network news program with a story about your cruise.😮

Heard a lot of good things about Andy's R18+ show. It's always been at an impossible time but finally I'm going to make it.

Twenty minutes to showtime and the bottom level already almost filled in. I don't think I'm going to have my own little bubble in the balcony.

Looks like there’s a lot of good energy onboard and the food is getting better as you get closer to home. If you haven’t figured yet, food is really important to me on any trip, land or sea. Oh, and good wine too. Oh, and a good beer…
@jam19872016Thanks again for taking us along! I look forward to follow your Cunard South America voyage with Mom…

My goodness. I thought a journey cruise meant security got the night off. Some drama going down.

If I were a betting man I would wager that a Carnival ship has more security personnel per capita than a Cunard ship.  😀 Although in my 26 Carnival cruises I have never actually observed any physical altercations.

It was so quiet just steps away from the tourist area.

The tower would be spectacularly beautiful even if it didn’t lean.

Even in Venice as here, where there are zillions of tourists, if you take two turnings away from St. Marks Square down an unpromising ally, you can find yourself in a pleasant campo, devoid of tourists but with a nice cafe to sit outside. It is one of the strange things about Italy.

Tonight's menu is my least favorite too. There was some talk of going to the buffet.

And they get table cloths. Note the nearest table has only cruets. They must go on first.

The caprese is about the only salad I eat. This one was middle of the road as capreses go.

The lasagna was good. A little dried out on the one corner.  I've found that to be the case on every cruiseline which is why I just get the half portion.

Corn Chilli and quinoa baked tomato and cornmeal crusted chicken 753.

More batter. They must be trying to hide something.😊

Good morning everyone.

We didn't lose an hour last night so we remain one hour ahead of Eastern time.

This is our fifth and final sea day on the way to Bermuda.

I'm getting up and getting ready to go walk with Andy.

I got some catching up to do from last night but I gotta get going first, moving slow this morning. I wonder why.
