Priority Embark and/or Debark in Junior Suite?

I booked Mariner this Friday, in a JS. Due to the last minute booking, the earliest check in was 1:30pm.

It’s my understanding that the JS comes with “priority embark.” Does that mean I’m able to get on any time, or is there just a dedicated line at 1:30pm?

Lastly, is priority debarkation an option with JS, for self assist? Thank you in advance.

As long as your set sail pass shows "suite" on it, you will be able to board with the suites regardless of when your arrival time is.  Be sure and get in the right line !  They are pretty close together.

Unfortunately, there is no priority disembarkation for JS.

If you arrive at T5 before terminal doors open, there are two rope lines outside.  Tell the workers you are a suite guest and you will be directed to the line closer to the door.  From our recent experience if you do not speak up, they are apt to send you to the main line.

Keep in mind the check in time...is for check in at the terminal.   Not boarding time, which totally separate and at the whim of the port authority when the ship is cleared.

And no...JS disembarks with every one else if you are self assist.

My husband and I walked out with the suites last month on the Indy and we were in a JS.

With the suites concierge?

not sure but he was a concierge.  It was our first time in a JS and 2nd time in a suite.  We just asked where the suite departure was and showed our card.  I had no idea this was a no no for a JS if self assistance!

edit - actually our 3rd time in a suite and 1st time JS.

A Junior Suite is not a full suite.  Would have to be in a Grand Suite or above.  You would also not have had access to the Suites Lounge/Concierge Lounge.   The concierge is in those for the full suites pax and does an escorted walk off as a benefit for those paying for those higher end suites.

You just got lucky.

Apparently.  It was a 3 day cruise so maybe that was a factor.  We were in GSs prior so we just asked someone where the suites met to disembark and we were directed.  Honestly had no clue.
