Amuleto on Island Princess

Could someone please comment on what Amuleto is on the Island Princess.

I know there is no International Cafe on that ship so are the hours in this part of Horizon Court longer or are more coffees or light snacks available there?

It is a section of the Horizon Court (buffet) where the make fancy coffees and have various pastries and deserts.  At breakfast, it is where you can get a freshly toasted bagel or English muffin, fresh waffles as well as croissants quickbreads, donuts, etc.  It is open regular Horizon Court hours, but not 24 hours, or at least I don't believe it is. It is nothing like an International Cafe.

AMULETO also has a "BAR". So it is easy (if one has either PLUS / PREMIER package or one is just willing to pay the charge) to order Fresh Orange Juice / Mimosa / Wine (limited varietals availability) / Beer / Cocktails / Juices. If the Horizon Waiters get to know that you are a regular Bar person, they are happy to serve you promptly. Sometimes the Bar is overloaded -- so the Bar Tenders are busy.

On Island Princess it is where the desserts are on the Lido deck.  I kind of hung out in that area a lot!

I like to get a cup of tea before bed and am trying to figure out where to do that on a ship without an International Cafe.

They can serve you the IC beverages.  They don't have all the food items there, but some things nearby at least resemble some of the food offerings.

The Horizon Court is always open only until 10:30 pm. Self serve Tea and Coffee.

 

The other place that normally serves Coffee and Tea -- Good Spirits Bar on Deck 5 is open late.

 

The Explorer's Bar and Casino Bar (both on Deck 6) also serve Tea and are open till mid-night.

 

My info is based up to June 28 2023 -- but Princess keeps changing Bar Times. But the 3 Bars always have hot water.

I'm glad @sultan_sfo responded.  I honestly can't remember how late it was open.

Midnight works for me. 
We loved sailing on the small ships (Ocean and Pacific) but I could never find anything open past 11 so I was hoping the Island would have something a little later.

We are on Island right now and I overheard another passenger say she had asked for a kettle for her cabin and they gave it to her. Another possibility for your bedtime tea.

I always would stop in the Horizon Court after the 9:30 pm show in the Princess Theatre ended.  This would be approximately 10:30 pm.  At this time, there were people sitting at tables in the HC, often officers or senior crew who were off duty having a cup of coffee, but also some guests still playing cards or whatever.  There were usually still some desserts left out, but the pickings were getting pretty slim.  I don't know if the specialty coffee was still available.

Are you in or near the British Isles?

Princess puts kettles in cabins for those cruises.

Sailed out of Southampton. Doing a few UK ports and 4 ports in Iceland. No kettle in our cabin.
