Vista Cancelling 3 Ports and Going Straight to NY

While beyond not ideal , this is the problem when booking any cruise in the Atlantic or Gulf of Mexico during mid August through mid October. The hurt I can unpredictably is just vile

We are right along side your ship now in Manhattan,but we are leaving tonight(Friday) and going north up to Greenland. Same path you just came from.

Here in Portland, they said all cruise lines, all ships won’t be docking here through Saturday.  Just hope all are safe  . . . and we don’t lose power.  Ironically, we wait until mid-October to head down to SW Florida.

Does Oceania give future cruise credit for missed ports?  Viking gave us FCC on our last cruise when we missed a few ports.
