Eurodam Aft deck

Can anyone tell me about deck 8?  Is there vibration or soot?  I have never sailed in an Aft and am wondering.

As i remember the Eurodam does have a rear end vibration

We had a deck 8 aft on the Eurodam in Dec 2021 - we loved it!

I had an aft cabin on Eurodam this past winter and had no issues with vibration or soot. It depends on the itinerary and how far apart the ports are. Sometimes they have to rev the engines to go the distance to the next port. 

 

I think I was on deck 7. I was happy with the cabin, except that the walk to the spa was very long!

Is the vibration in aft cabins still an issue? Would choosing a forward cabin be better in terms of getting good sleep at night?

We had an 8th deck AFT on the Eurodam (2021) and don't recall having issues with vibration or soot. If they were there, I was too enthralled with the view and and wake to notice.

I was on the 8th deck AFT in November.  There was no soot or vibration issues, however, the air conditioning barely worked!

+1 we have not had issues

We were on the AFT on deck 5 in September, and didn't feel any vibration.  We were sailing Alaska, not sure if that has anything to do with it.  But it was AWESOME.  Have the same cabin booked for 2025.

You were in my Happy Place going to my Happy Place!! Nothing beats an aft cabin in AK. And we like the Eurodam.
