Suite availability in YC

I was just looking at what deluxe suites were available in YC on Virtuosa on a 2024 sailing, nothing on 14, only 2 on 15 but loads on 16 and 18.

 

Are the lower decks more popular in YC?

Generally it is the other way around.

Oh really, this will be our first time in YC and we booked 16, thought it made sense to be on the top sail lounge deck, walk out your room, straight in the bar 😀

 I agree.  We are booked on deck 15 on the Divina.

We were on 15 last time and it is a great choice for lounge access.

 

Next time we've opted for 16 as it is only one deck up to the pool and the buffet for breakfast, and one down to the lounge.

We like Deck 15 on the Fantasia-class for easy access to the Top Sail Lounge. We were on the MSC Splendida in YC on Deck 15 last year. And for next year have booked Deck 15 again on MSC Splendida in YC and the MSC Divina in YC for the Fall Grand Voyage to Miami.

I 'won' the upgrade to YC and was assigned a cabin on 14 portside. I noticed that there were still at least 6 cabins available on 15 with 2 starboard which is my preference. I called to see if I could change to a starboard cabin and was told that upgraded cabins cannot be changed.
