cabin across from the laundry

I have to decide i f I want this cabin or pay two grand more and move more midship.     Any suggestions?

It probably depends if you are an early riser. We had one and I'd avoid it in future but it doesn't bother others.

I was thinking that it would give me a heads-up on my  laundry schedule. It is for the world cruise and i can imagine that this might be a prize selection.

It would be extremely busy area on a World cruise. Normally the doors are open (even if asked to be closed it is often too hot to have closed). Lots of chatter in there normally though hopefully no fights!

There are much better cabins to be had but for 2 grand more maybe ear plugs and hope for the best.

For a world cruise it would all about the location so I would probably be tempted to move more midship .

We purposely booked 2 x QG roome at each side of the laundry on QV.

 

One was for us, and one for my parents.

 

The idea was that we cound use the laundry as a passageway to each others rooms.

 

It actually worked out well and we never heard any noise or fighting from the laundry.

Which ship and which location?

 

A laundrette mid-ships would be busier presumably than one located at either end of the ship. I've had a cabin located at the front of Queen Mary 2 on deck 10 almost directly opposite the laundrette and did not hear a peep from it. And it was very convenient.

Thank God , as I  believe the ship is now all wait-listed, and that cabin is now 10 grand more.  I appreciate your comment and will now relax about the idea. Thanks Little Fish.
