@sseibert3  No if you are talking about the entire world.  Some do.  Generally, even if they do, the exchange rate will not be favorable.  Use your credit card or local currency is what I do.  (but I admit having used USD when in Mexico and Nicaragua when a credit card wasn't accepted).

 

Are you wondering about a specific port?  If you let us know, someone who has been there can give you firsthand experience.

There is more to the world than the Caribbean countries.

 

Actually, at one of the ports we were in last summer, Amsterdam, there were places that did not even accept Euros ! They would only take credit or debit cards, generally Master Card or Visa.
