FWIW, we're currently aboard--and enjoying!--the South America & Antarctica cruise on the Oosterdam sailing Santiago to B.A.  There is a fairly large group aboard from Travel Rite (travelrite.com.au). Seems like a great group and everyone is having a good time. Their website indicates that Travel Rite will also have a group on the following Oosterdam cruise departing 1/29/2024 from B.A. back to Santiago.

As the Noordam was in drydock for the month of Feb 2022, do you have any knowledge as to why the 'early' drydock, and what work is being performed?

@VMax1700  JoCo just announced that their 2025 sailing will be those dates on the NA.

And for any who care, They Might Be Giants are one of the guest acts. 

(Hubs and I are now rethinking our 2025 plans and possibly doing the All Star Irish followed by JoCo -- hits both of our musical styles all at once!) 🤣

 

And they stated that JoCo2026 would be in late march sailing out of San Diego FWIW

It still has Northern Lights and supposedly the most desirable exploration lounge configuration of the vista class.  I'm guessing those will be adjusted and "the library" on will be put in the area somewhere. 

 

Sailing on the Noordam in April and it sure seems to be the "phantom sister" of the vista class - few reviews and posts on her and only a handful of videos of her on youtube after covid.

Noordam has nothing scheduled on website between November 24th and December 8th 2024.  Location would appear to be Singapore, so that could be the drydock.

Other vista class drydocks are usually in the 9-11 day range.  So 3 -5 more days could be a lot of additional time.
