Question: Celebrity Suite Deck 11 or 12 on Ascent

Hello,

I had my first MoveUp bid accepted, and I got a Celebrity Suite on Deck 11 near the forward elevators. I usually avoid next to the elevators because of the possibility of noise from people waiting. There are 2 Celebrity Suites available on the port side of Deck 12. 

 

Questions: Any feedback on the noise near the elevators? Any perspectives about asking to move to Deck 12 instead? Too much overhang? 

 

I know it's all opinion and I'm very happy for the Celebrity Suite.

We have had suites near the elevators and never any noise.  The elevators are on the other side of a solid wall, so no one standing waiting by the cabins.

Never had any issues of noise when by an elevator.  
 

I would stick with deck 11.   Check the deck plan for what is above deck 12.  
 

With 11 you will have cabins.  Should be quieter unless you have people above that walk around like a heard of elephants or do aerobics in the cabin.

I was in sky suite 10123 on Ascent right behind the elevators and no noise from elevators at all. Super convenient for going up to Luminae and the Retreat lounge and sun deck.
