I get that people have flights to catch but maybe make your flights for later in the day…

I'd love to make my flights later, but I, probably like many of the 'too-early birds' don't always have a lot of choice.

My nearest airport is small, and only has one flight a day in/out to many locations.  So - I have the choice to leave from 'home' and have to hurry-scurry to make it to the airport in time for the return flight.

Or I can make a 3 hour or more drive to another airport, where I can choose to select a later flight home. This will cost me more, in time, in airfare, and in gas and parking cost. (I can get transportation to my local airport for under $10.)

YMMV

i've traveled extensively through asia. i have never witnessed this.

perhaps affectionately among friends and family, but strangers? pushing people aside?

no. this is absolutely not something that is sanctioned "in their culture."

what i want to say about my fellow amercans is that they - as a group - are among the world's least savvy travelers. and something seems to happen to many of them when they come onboard a cruise ship... all their intelligence,  tact, manners and respect for fellow humans seems to be left onshore.

What a big old pile of bovine feces!!!!!

UK, you make a lot of silly blanket statements that I just laugh off. But man, you've been going off the deep end lately.

"As a group"? What does that even mean? All of us? Some percentage? I assume you are included?

Are you ok?

I like to eat breakfast, take my time getting back to my cabin to grab my luggage.  I don’t want to take too long because I know the crew wants to get in and get things ready for the new group coming on.  But I will push it as long as I can, and then I can pretty much just walk off the ship.

I always got the impression that many people who want to get off early drove to the port and possibly have a few hour drive they want to get out of the way.
