  1. What?! The world doesn't revolve around Americans with mobility issues? Preposterous.
  2. Pardon me? Are you absolutely certain about that?
  3. So, you watched the video in order to give specific examples of this? Of course you didn't.
  4. I haven't seen a fuel surcharge in, forever. A fuel surcharge is when prices go above a certain point, which NCL has to pay. How does that go to the bottom line?
  5. @UKstages, you are being far too coy. They're gay. There is a percentage of the population who are misinformed, ignorant, improperly raised bigots that refuse to accept the realities of the real world. That's their problem.
  6. For sure. I guess the non-clickbait viewers never watch Gary, Tony, Emma, Don, Morgan, etc., etc.
  7. I'll have to watch again, but I think you're referring to footage of the Prima. There was a lot of it.
  8. Bird, please provide concrete examples of this from the review. Oh, you didn't watch it? Go figure.
  9. A pretty spot-on analysis of NCL at the moment, it seems to me. I do take issue with their blanket statement about the condition of the older ships, based on the Epic. I mean, it's the Epic. It is going in for refurb in 2025. Also, a 40-minute wait for drink? Seriously? Go get it yourself instead of relying on an over-worked server. Otherwise, I have no disagreement with their review overall.
  10. As do many, but any given port is a crapshoot. That said, NCL is sucking quite hard regarding this at the moment.
  11. Of course you'd get the miles on the airline you flew, but I would not expect to get miles on the line I didn't fly. Interesting information.
  12. Wow, I have a lot to learn. I'll be river cruising for the first time in 2026. You guys all talking about mailed documents, full-colored booklets, and zippered pouches? Mailed red leather luggage tags? What the heck is all that? I haven't received "mailed" anything for a cruise in years!
  13. Can you name any cruise line that does what you suggest? Or any hotel, airline, etc.?
  14. Comparing Seabourn to HAL? You can't be serious.
  15. Three replies, and three completely different (and contradictory) responses. This is why I never book flights through a cruise line -- for any amount of money.
  16. Interesting. I've also asked nearly every room steward I've had. I've gotten 3 different answers: 1. Yes 2. We can't discuss that 3. No Funny that you've gotten the exact same answer "dozens" of times. Someone here is.
  17. Actually, it sounds like OP is asking whether they get HAL credits, which they will, but is also wanting to do it to help maintain their Marriott status, which it won't. You need qualifying nights per year to maintain Marriott status (Gold, Platinum, etc.) which they won't get by booking a cruise.
  18. Very interesting. Thank you. It will be interesting to see the cost difference vs. booking direct, if any.
  19. How do you book a cruise through Marriott? I've been a Marriott rewards member and credit card holder forever and have never heard of such a thing.
  20. Either you haven't sailed Norwegian, Royal, or Carnival lately, or you have a unique definition of "average".
  21. Wouldn't it be ironic if the only breakfast potatoes available were hashbrown patties?
  22. Nevermind. You're making this way to easy to pile on.
