Consider our advice but apply it to your dollar. If you drink more than 2 drinks a day, NCL is for you. If you want a couple gratuities-only specialty meals, NCL is for you. If you are a partier and want to be entertained every moment of every day and night, look at other options. Large, expensive production shows are on the wane with NCL. Others do better. The solo lounge, and solo cabin options (and cost) can be incredible, but not always. Research, research, research. It's your dollar, not ours. Happy cruising! (personal opinion: choose NCL)

But, but, that's the point! What is the motive behind an OP? or a response to an OP? Do they simply want to know if their son can get a virgin drink? Or are they attempting to "find a scheme" to get around paying for their son's drink? Motive. Exactly. Feel free to join in.

From experience, book MDR for the first night, for sure. It's a cluster. We didn't have more than a 5 to 10-minute wait at the MDR's after the first night. Also, if reservations aren't available online, use chat, or call. You will get them.

Perhaps you've stopped actually reading the threads over the last 70k posts. Understandable. Questions are always answered. But based on experience (which you obviously have), sometimes the motive is just as important as the question. Questioning the OP's motive is just as important as answering the question.
