  1. Surprising as it may seem, some of us have no desire to cruise with 6000+ other randoms. 3-4000 is already more than enough.
  2. When one holds a Blue Moon on a cruise ship, one never stands alone. I think I heard that somewhere.
  3. I don't either, but it was worth a shot! 😃
  4. No one will corroborate because the policy of holding back Vibe passes doesn't exist. Some who like to invent NCL policy, because they supposedly got lucky (twice!) and "heard" it from someone (or two!), will say the policy exists, but that doesn't make it so.
  5. If you happened to keep on of the dailies, it would be listed as a breakfast option.
  6. That seems very odd to me. It's never taken 2 hours for any meal in any restaurant for us on NCL. Maybe, a few times, maybe, it took 1:45 with dessert and after-dinner port. Never has it exceeded 2 hours, let alone approach 3. We eat at regular dining times. What are you guys doing when you eat?
  7. Love is love, buddy. Glad it worked out for you. So there. Yeah, this whole thing is just bending my brain.
  8. No problem. I'm not caught up on my cruise news today. But I'm still not clicking a tiktok link. 😆
  9. I'm not clicking that link. Let's just say, if you get your news from tiktok, you get the news you deserve.
  10. This isn't your only thread about confusion with this cruise. Why do think it's NCL's fault and not your agents, or your own?
  11. No policy that I know of, but because of the pre-bidding process, anyone who gets an upgrade will get it before you board the ship. Balconies will be gone to those who bid from an inside or ocean-view. There will be no more balconies to get.
  12. Thank you, Bird, for posting essentially nothing that hasn't already been said. I think I can ask for the board when I ask, do you actually read a thread, or do you just respond to random posts that catch your eye? I intend no disrespect. Just curious.
  13. No problem. As far as boarding, one plat, all plat.
  14. And yet, we'll have to do it a thousand times more.
  15. It's not boarding time, it's arrival time at the port. If you can't bid for an upgrade, right now, you're not going to get one at any price.
  16. 1) Check in is midnight Eastern time 2) You will get an "arrival time" -- 9:30 is earliest. Ship will start boarding around 11:30. With Platinum you will have early boarding. Your arrival time doesn't matter. 3) Go to the CruiseNext desk and book your special stuff immediately. It will fill up. 4) As Platinum, you can book all your dining at 125 days. Any bookable shows can be done at 21 days. I think I got all that right. Oh, and you will be invited to bid on upgrades. None will be available once you're on the ship.
  17. Pardon me, but I quoted your post for some of us small-letter challenged readers to read it. I wouldn't buy the Vibe. And I would bring a warm rain jacket, just in case. And Dramamine.
  18. You are correct. A bartender is a person who formulates and serves alcoholic or soft drink beverages behind the bar A bar server is responsible for taking orders and serving drinks to customers There is no such thing as a "roving bartender".
  19. I take it you've never been to Cagney's on a bad night? 🙄
  20. I often roll my eyes at you schmoop. But that's a good one right there.
  21. You're not reading the room. Some of us take the lack hashbrowns and cookies very seriously. 😆
  22. That's an understatement if I've ever heard one. Cast changes also provoke immediate fearmongering when the departing cast announces they are leaving.
  23. That seems strange. More details on restaurants you've tried? In your case, I would book tables for 8, and show up with 9. They will make it work.
  24. I've yet to have a ship run out of Crown Royal.
