Meeting point(s) for NCL tours in Ketchikan

Booking excursions for our 2nd NCL Alaska cruise.  Last time we docked by downtown Ketchikan - it was brilliant!  

Now, NCL docks 10 miles out of town, requiring a 20 minute shuttle each way.  

Does anyone know if NCL tours meet @ Ward Cove or someplace downtown?  If downtown, do tour participants get shuttle priority?  

We booked a private tour to avoid the shuttle, but asking on behalf of some shipmates.  Thank you!

NCL Tours pick up/drop off at Wards Cove. 
 

When booking a private tour, you need to ensure that they are picking up at Wards Cove and not a central point downtown.

If you have a NCL excursion, you will board your bus at Ward Cove - that bus will take you to where you need to be.  You don't take the shuttle.

 

One suggestion that I've made to NCL (no response, as usual) is to also have a meeting place in town for later NCL excursions - so you could go to town first if you wanted to. Depending on the excursion, you might be able to get dropped off in town after your excursion and take the shuttle back to the ship, if you have time.

I agree but it will never happen because NCL wants you in that big warehouse shopping where they get a cut of everything you buy. I have become so cynical.
