Rebel Rouser Posted April 20 #1 Share Posted April 20 Greetings All, this has just been reported on a well-known social media site. Don't know if it's true or not. But I will find out for sure. RR
Rare dronnygirl Posted April 21 #2 Share Posted April 21 Not really essential but was one of the things that made cruising a little special. They are obviously following the lead of P&O and others. Loved sitting in bed and reading the Cruise News and planning the next day
Rare Jim The Scot Posted April 22 #3 Share Posted April 22 (edited) Strange on the turn down as cabin crew would need to make up a pull down sofa bed every night if you have a child staying We are going with the family with 3 in a balcony cabin with a pull down sofa bed for the kid.We discussed the workings off this on our previous cruise with our cabin steward who said they,d be in every evening to lay out mattress and makeup the bed Mrs JTS loves the cruise news so will just head to reception for a hard copy.Shes also partial to the choccy treats but doesn,t bother me in the least so no big loss Edited April 22 by Jim The Scot

newbiewaves Posted April 25 #5 Share Posted April 25 Could do without everything apart from getting the cruise news pushed under the door. Still eating our way through the chocs from more than a month ago. Pain in pants to tidy the room before going to dinner as they tidy everything up and fold your pjs!!! Sheera07 Posted April 27 #6 Share Posted April 27 Can’t please everyone, just speak to the cabin team and request them not to do turndown or leave your do not disturb card in the door .

Andy24v Posted May 4 #8 Share Posted May 4 I've got a friend who's on Explorer 2 at present. Cruise News and chocolates are being delivered in the evening. Apparently they abandoned the idea of moving to the app and making the paper version available at reception due to it causing massive queues.
