Move Up question

I have a balcony cabin booked with drink Package and basic wi fi package.  If I do a Move Up bid how will that effect my current 'packages'?

If your Move Up bid succeeds, you will not receive an upgrade on your WiFi or drink package to whatever would come "standard" with your suite if you had just purchased the suite originally.

 

We took advantage of a Celebrity Move Up offer to a suite a few years ago and didn't realize this until we were onboard. Not a big deal but good to know.

If you upgrade and pay the prevailing rate for suite you get suite perks and amenities.  If you secure suite thru move up bid, you get the drink and Wi-Fi your currently have.  We secured a move up to suite but had upgraded our drink and Wi-Fi before that.

Yes and you could get drinks in the Retreat Bar and Retreat Sundeck, without a package.

I would not assume that you will get free drinks at the retreat sundeck as officially you do not, but some people have reported that they did.  I suggest if they ask for your your card that you clarify if you care.

Unless something has changed, the Retreat Sundeck checked our drink package via our cards in order to identify/learn our drink package. That was on a two-week cruise and, after several days of frequenting this awesome space, the staff stopped asking us 👼

 

You will need a drink package.
