Better beaches?

Recommended Posts

If scheduling only one beach day, out of these 3 ports which might you pick for

cleanliness, views, amenities, etc.?

Barcelona….Valencia…Malaga

How far do you want to travel for good beaches?  There are beaches in all three that you mention.  Sea view in front of you and city view behind you. All are clean at the start of the day. Amenities? You are on a city beach, everything is available including shopping.

playa la malagueta in Malaga

Barcelonetta playa in Barcelona

Personally, I wouldn't waste any of my time in these wonderfull cities by sitting on a beach.

I agree

These cities are nice heritage. Do not change them for a day at beach

In the case of Barcelona, Barceloneta beach can be reached by metro. It is in the own city. Casteldefells, by commuter every 15 minutes

but I would visit Barcelona

Thank you!  Agree not to spend much time, but just enough to catch a breath and touch the sea.   Gonna be a busy tour! ❤️

If you must, pick Valencia.  The water is always cold in Malaga. Don't waste your time in Barcelona going to the beach.

This is what I was going to say.

Also when we cruised midsummer we always carried swimwear and one of those small sport towels.  We found a place to swim in most ports.
