Veuve Cliquot in Steakhouse?

Hi there!

 

Not a big drinker, but love a glass of champagne in the evening. A couple of questions:

 

1.) In the steakhouse, I know they do the free house wine or 50% off other wines. Does Veuve fall under the 50% off category?

 

2.) We won't finish the bottle at the steakhouse - can we take it with us, or have it in the MDR for the next night?

no, they do not have veuve on the wine list.

closest would be laurent-perrier, but that is slight over $100 limit, excluding it for the 50% deal.

they do offer 375ml half bottle for that champagne though.

unfortunately, they don't offer any good sparkling, by the glass.

yes, you can take remaining unfinished bottle with you.

Alternatively, you may board with your own bottle of Veuve.

As a Vueve fan, I was really happy on our Celebrity cruise last year. It was available by the glass in all the dining rooms for $23, an $8 up charge from the Premium plan. No need to worry about the bottle. My husband isn’t a fan, so it worked perfectly. One night, the wine steward poured for me, wasn’t happy with the bubbles, so he opened a new bottle and poured me a fresh glass.
 

But I already have my bottle ready for my August cruise.

it's not on any Carnival ship I've been on, and i've never seen it on any menu.
but results may vary, since you had it on Horizon

You can get laurent-perrier by the glass but it is over $20
