Or do you need a plug. I don't remember since last time I was onboard.

It depends on which ship. QA you'll be fine in any cabin and as far QV is concerned, the only cabins with usb sockets are aft on deck 7. The new aft QG cabins might have them but I don't know about them. I do know deck 6, although 'brand new' doesn't have any.

I very much doubt QM2 and QE have usb ports.

Thanks for that reply. I was hoping that they would. I will have to take my own one with me. They have UK plug sockets onboard don't they?

You are indeed best to assume QM2 and QE won't have USBs, but some staterooms and suites do have them.

Yes, the cabins have both UK and US plug sockets.

Just bring an international travel adapter with a three or four USB ports,  A and C or which ever is appropriate.

Personally I would never rely on built in usb ports anywhere - I have had some failures in my time. I'm a belt and braces man!

One of our ports didn't work on QV and I reported it. Not an issue as we had 'loads' of ports around the cabin but it was fixed the next day.

I'm with david63. If I buy a phone that can charge for a day in four minutes using it's native charger I'm not going to use some port I know nothing about on a ship.

If required I'll leave a tee shirt or pair of shorts behind to make way for the charger. Oh no; I wasn't taking them! 😀

Never mind we'll have more space and weight than we need anyway.
