Rare OceanCruise Posted September 10 #1 Share Posted September 10 Besides the buffet, pizza and pool grill, are there other options for lunch on port days for Suites (Sky Class) on the Oasis? Is Coastal Kitchen open? Are the paid specialty restaurants open every day or just on sea days? What items are available on the suite room service menu for lunch? Other than that you have the same options as everyone else on board. Change the date in the app to the current sailing and look at lunch options for day 1
RFerrington Posted September 10 #3 Share Posted September 10 The venues that are open on port days vary by ship. Most have a pool bar, WJ, Sorrento's/Cafe Promenade. Very rarely, one of the specialty restaurants will be open on a port day but that is atypical and you cannot really count on that happening...almost certainly, it won't happen. Yes, the Coastal Kitchen is always in operation for lunch - even on boarding day. The specialty restaurants WILL be open on sea days....at least, Chops, Giovanni's, Izumi, Johnny Rockets. 150 Central Park and Wonderland are only open for dinner. There is no "suites room service". There is just room service...which is complimentary for suites...and yes, it will be available for lunch.
loman Posted September 10 #4 Share Posted September 10 The solarium bistro is open also. Its a smaller buffet and isnt as crowed or hectic like the windjammer on day 1.

True, except that if you are in a full suite you can order from the MDR menu any time the venue is serving - including breakfast and lunch. We do that all the time.

The Solarium, especially for dinner, is hit or miss. They always, consistently, hold food too long until it is totally dried out or "crunchy" when it supposed to be soft and chewy.
