That is exactly what my the 30 year-old crown on my front tooth did 24 hours before I was to leave for our 14 day Hawaii cruise. I was biting a slice of cheese at the time. :confused: Of course it would have to be on my dentist's day off. Desperate, I called him at home. He was out, but his wife found him and he agreed to meet me at the office and fix the tooth with a temporary cover. It's really neat to live in a small town where people know and help each other. Of course, after enjoying the cruise and settling up that final bill, I still have to ante up the payment for a brand new crown which will be done next week.
