Yukon, thanks for your detailed route. We have already reserved a car for our September cruise. So that we can plan our day accordingly, am I correct in "assuming" the first (and only) chance we will have at a restroom facility will be in Carcross?

cujosmom - there are outhouses just past the summit at Mile 15.9 / Km 25.4, but the first place with water is at Carcross.

is there an actual tour that goes to emerald lake. i would love to see it but i do not want to rent a car or ride a horse. there must be a private tour group that goes there. please let me know if there is such a co. thanks yukon.

dustyroad - I'm just heading out the door on a 5-day trip so don't have time to look closely, but if you go to http://www.explorenorth.com/library/communities/alaska/bl-skagwaylinks2.htm Chilkoot, Frontier and Southeast do or did last year, but email them to make sure. Princess apparently also goes there now.
