Merion_Mom Posted October 22, 2007 #26 Share Posted October 22, 2007 CHAMPAGNE CARD: It is a 10-drink punch card. You can get any of the listed champagne cocktails at the Champagne Bar. It costs $50 plus 15% gratuity. I always tipped an extra dollar when I got my drink, because $5 for a champagne cocktail or glass of champagne was absurdly cheap. ;) And the bartender was so nice (and cute!). He took very good care of me. He even let my daughter bring me a drink by showing him my card. :) Oh, and don't buy it until you have sailed way out of Bayonne. Otherwise, they charge local sales tax. :(

I've seen this type of program at local micro brew pubs

Thanks for the info, Merion Mom!! $5 for a champagne cocktail should be illegal, but if they're willing to take it, I'm willing to make the sacrifice. :D
