We are here and had a good meeting last night. The Emerald is lovely. We did not go to Princess Cay, but had a morning in Nassau.

The weather is perfect.

The coffee card gets you 15 specialty coffees and unlimited fresh brewed coffee and they open at 6 AM. I was so there this morning. Will keep in touch. The internet is slow.

I look forward to reading your postings. We are sailing Oct 31, 08. Have a fun and safe trip.

Hi, saw your post & had to say hello.

We live on the Central Coast of Calif and our current pup is from Boxer Rescue LA. She's the third rescue we've had from them.

Apologies to all for a non-topic post.

Alice- are you joining the CC meet/greet on the 7th at 11?

I thought the next meeting was at 1:30 at Shywalkers?????

We did skip Princess Cay and spent a morning in Nassau. It was a lovely day. I haven't heard about Princess Cay, but saw a thread here. Don't want to spend the time to read it.

We are enjoying the food, the new menu is a variation of the old. There seem to be good choices and everything we have had is very good.

The public spaces are beautiful and having Skywalkers moved gives sun to the back pool and that's a plus.

The staff is very friendly, smiles everywhere and no problem with any request. The atrium is really nice, with entertainment and places to sit and relax. Very nice. There seems to be enough space on deck, there are always the chair hogs with stuff on a lounge at 7AM, but for most part, it works well. More later. Someone else will no doubt post to keep us on page one.

I was wondering about the pool area on the Riviera deck. Are there hot tubs and a bar there also? I was also wondering if it is easily accessible from the deck above?

Thanks again for taking your time to post while aboard!

Yes there are hot tubs at the Riveria pool, it's a little noisy for us with the music and overflow noise from Muts though. We look for the quiet spots.

We're docked at Havensight in St. Thomas, can you believe it? What a pleasant suprise.

Everything is great here on board and I will give more details when I'm not spending my 250 minutes. It's hot today. We're heading to Coki beach.

have just written a post. We were on emerald last week, fantastic cruise look forward redoing it through your travel. but i wonder if you can help us? We bought 3 photos on the last night and we only found out that we left them on board. We wondered if lost property would have them or the photo gallery? You can't miss us as B was dressed up as Sherlock Holmes and i had a sheet on[for halloween] the others were our 1st formal night. We were in E423 so they would have our address to send them to us. Or maybe theres someway that we can contact the ship? have a lovely cruiuse. :o

Boxerescuemom....love your pictures. I volunteer at 2 local no kill shelters in my area. All the pet orphans have a special place in my heart.

Cruzzers, Thank you. The one by my name was my 1st Boxer I adopted. She passed away in Jan 05. I still miss her. The 2 at the bottom were both fosters that I ended up adopting (hard placements). The male (brindle) passed in Dec 06. The female is still with us. Thank you for your time with animals also. The love is so unconditional. I look forward to your postings also. Enjoy the Emerald.

Slomo...she's a beauty. If you go to the Floating Lounge there is a thread for animal lovers, many rescued pets there. See you there. Also enjoy the Emerald live postings.

Thanks for the updates. The Emerald sounds wonderful and our trip is so long off. A little jealous of you but enjoying your posts.

I thought all Princess ships are using Crown? Anyone have knowledge on this?

The casino is lovely, but we are not winning. Maybe tomorrow.

I will check for the photos for E423 right away. I'll get back to you on that.

I have no idea about the future docking at Havensight, but it was so nice. The Crown was at Crown Bay and that was it for ships in St. Thomas. Unreal??

I seem to remember reading a post or two somewhere about how one of the cruise lines was pulling out of St. Thomas because of the difficulties clearing the Non US Citizens through immigration. Maybe it's having a bigger impact than we thought?

Hey, while you're checking on stuff, go tell whoever is in C612 to keep the place clean. :D

that was not a "cruise line" pulling out, it was Princess pulling out for the Sea Princess only.....and that has been resolved, I think...with more immigration staff being used to process the mostly British passengers on the Sea's cruises
