seaventurer Posted September 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2004 Photos for the record books; no less than 7 ships in Miami today following their delayed return thanks to Frances…I never imagined they would fit these heavyweights in all at once...I live right above these photos which explains my ten cruises in the past year… Here's our link to the photos: http://www.egisnine.com/cruiseships Facination, Imagination, Paradise (her last port visit in Miami as she is off to the west coast and stripped of her non-smoking venue), Majesty of The Seas, Explorer of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas…an estimated 14,500 passengers off and another 14,500 boarding or close to 30,000 transient passengers…!!! Miami is still the cruise capital of the WORLD - and here comes IVAN... spcl4cs_gal Posted September 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2004 Wow that is so strange looking at all those ships lined up like that. How many does Miami normally get at one time?
seaventurer Posted September 7, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted September 7, 2004 On a busy winter weekend, we can get 5 ships, but nothing like this - Port Everglages actually has had up to 13 ships in one day !

Krazy Kruizers Posted September 7, 2004 #8 Share Posted September 7, 2004 Thanks for posting the pictures - they were great. That's a lot of people getting off planes and a lot trying to get on planes considering this is supposed to be a slow time for the Caribbean.
