Europe 2009 schedule

We're planning a 40th anniversary cruise to Europe in July 2009 on a small ship and are anxiously awaiting those schedules. Regent's is already out, and Oceania says its '09 Europe summer schedule should be out around mid-March, but when I called Azamara I was told a release date for the summer '09 schedule hadn't been announced, but the Azamara rep said he didn't think the schedule would be released before September because "they have to finish one summer season before they can announce the next one." That just doesn't seem to make any sense to us. We usually book cruises at least a year out, especially something special like a European cruise, but that won't be possible if the summer '09 schedules don't come out until September. Does anybody have a better guess on when Azamara is likely to release its summer 2009 Europe schedule. Thanks for any info you have.

Celebrity will likely release their 2009 Europe schedule in Mid-March. Frankly, I would expect Azamara to release their schedule around the same time, give or take a few weeks. I would be very surprised if Azamara waited until September, as they would be giving their competition a huge leg up. I can't see that happening.

 

Hopefully, we will have more details in 6-8 weeks or so. Stay tuned !

I am new to this board, but I may be losing it-we are booked on July12, 2009 Azamara cruise-both Oceania(we were on their Greek Islands/Turkey cruise in July, 2008) and Azamara are already out for 2009.:eek: Do you mean 2010?
