wrote a review already. It's probably on page 3 or 4 by now

moved it to page 1 by adding info for you

Awesome! Thank you so much!!!!! Apparently I was too lazy to search very far back for it. Sorry about that! Going to read it now! :D

What would you like to know? My dh and I had a wonderful time, food was really great, supper club wonderful as usual, we went to all the shows i think (shows were really great), did not play bingo, casino was smokey so we didn't stay much in there. I agree that the layout can be confusing, I am glad I got a map from the pursor's desk and had a husband with a sense of direction...Any questions, just ask........

So, who all just got back from the Glory yesterday (3/7) and would like to share their experience with us? I am bored and would love to read any reviews or tips!!!!!

Holly :D

We have cruised twice on the Glory, 2003 and 2005, not very recent, but I don't think that much has changed - you would at least get some idea of her to add to your excitement! Our family webpage has a lot about our 2005 cruise, reviews, photos, and general cruising info. There's a deck layout I created because I wanted to see a top-to-bottom perspective instead of the deck-by-deck provided by Carnival. Check it out, hope you enjoy it! http://www.user.shentel.net/cbarden/cruisinmain.html

I love the way you did the decks. other sites, it's so hard to read.

Question -- what is "SUR MER" ?

I swear, i must not have seen everything in that week.

Also -- we used to sit up stair [Red Sail Rest. second floor] and play cards on those cold and windy days ... and there was a dining room up there, but I have no idea what it was. One gent from our party went in there [to check it out] and we promptly asked to leave.

any ideas?

TIA,

tcs

"SUR MER" where did you see that? About that restaurant, I don't know, but I know there are "private rooms" on ships which they use for maybe a private reception, sales conference, etc. We were on the Sensation once when Richard Simmons was filming one of his videos (we didn't know when we booked), and we were following him and his party along, and when we got to this room they wouldn't let us in because we were not part of his group. I didn't remember about it until just now.

Thank you to all of you who posted replies. I'm not even sure what I want to know....I guess everything!!! :D I'm just getting really excited and NO ONE is talking at all on my roll call.

I am on my way now to see your reviews/pics that you posted!!! Davesgirl.....I can't wait to see the deckplan thing you did. Sounds great. If I love it a lot, can I have your permission to print it out to use during our trip? (would it be useful for this)?

If I think of specific questions after reading the reviews...I'll post them.

Thanks again!!!!!!

Holly

I thought of a couple questions....

Where/which deck is the mini-golf course on?

Did they have any midnight buffets and/or deck parties and if so, on which nights? Were they listed in the capers?

Thanks again!

Holly -- I do believe our "Grand Buffet" was Thursday night, at midnight ... I honestly was sleeping. and yes it was in the capers.

I need to look at the pictures to! I have another browser open to Glory. We are thinking of booking the November 29th cruise.

we are already booked on our 3rd glory cruise, and still have not seen or done everything on the ship. Of course we usually forget when the shows are.

Question? did they have the 80's review on the Glory. We saw that on the Sensation in Feb. Great show.

Hmmm interesting...I will have to try to find it when I get there. LOL Not sure where it would be hiding.

I have another question for past cruisers......which dining room do you prefer and why? Is one nicer or better than the other as far as decor/views.....etc.?

Thanks again!

Holly :D

There's always the "All Things Glory" thread.

Without the search function functioning, threads that have been posted in today can end up on page 4 within a couple of hours. Sometimes, you just have to do some "manual labor" and go through the pages and look.

I'd do that for you but I'm really supposed to be working! :o
