firefly333 Posted May 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2008 Its not normal, but it does happen. Usually it works out to your benefit and you get a better cabin when the assignment is this late. You will have to report back to us what you got to confirm the trend or not. :D
big_duck Posted May 9, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2008 Happens all the time. Just check with the porters they will have a final manifest. Take a sharpie with you to write the cabin number on the luggage tags.
Wennfred Posted May 9, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2008 Not finding out until you make it to the pier is a good thing, good luck and let us know when you get back what you got. By the way, what Category cabin did you book? Fred
PINEVIEW01 Posted May 10, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 10, 2008 I have had this happen several time. Just a little thing to do to help save time at the port. Make some sticky labels with your name address and phone number on them. When you get to the port, stick these on the tags the porters five you for your bags and you will only have to write in the number. I always take some to put on the tags for the bags I sit out the night before.
