I have 2 questions about Majesty of the Seas. Are there in-room safes in the ocean view rooms? Also, how are the 3 dinners categorized - i.e. formal night?, smart casual? or casual? Thanks.

While I can't speak for the oceanview rooms, the interiors have a safe in the closet so I would imagine the oceanview would as well.

 

The dining schedule on our 4 day we were just on was

 

Mon (embarkation) casual

Tues (Nassau) formal

Wed (Sea/KeyWest) Casual

Thursday (Key West) Casual

Room safes are in ALL rooms, to keep valuables in, not lying around your room, like some people I have read about on these threads

We have sailed on Majesty twice and love that ship :D You will ave a great cruise.

Its been a while, but if memory serves, we did have a safe in the cabin. I love the ship and had so much fun both times we traveled on her.

Yep, definitely a safe in the OV cabins. That was one of the 2 we had to have opened. :D

Is this ship too small for a 4 night trip after being on Enchantment,and loving it, we are worried that we may be disappointed, because it may be too old or small...

Question 1: All rooms have a safe that is secured with a push button code.

 

Question 2: It depends on whether you're sailing a 4 night or 3 night, but there are only two dinner categories - formal and casual. The three night sailing has two casual and one formal; the four night has three casual and one formal.

I personally wore a shirt, tie and jacket to all dinners and a tux during formal night, but that's just me. I enjoy dressing up.
