Thanks alphakitty.

I was at the Ronald Reagan Library earlier this week when they were preparing the dining area and had all these center pieces staged on a table as I walked by and I couldn't resist.

Wow,there have been some great additions while I was on vacation! All the flower shots are exceptional.

Denise40,that shot with the cows in the flowers is a great capture.

I love the cat shot and and Blue Angels shots also.

Pierces, what can I say about those Lensbaby images,Wow!

We spent the last week visiting Vancouver and Whistler B.C.,then finished up in Seattle.

About 20 miles from Whistler they are building the Olympic Park where the cross county, ski jumping and Biathlon events of this winters Olympics will be held. We drove up to check it out and they allow you drive around the park. Nobody was around until we got to the end of the park and I heard some shots. I walked up a hill and there was the womens Canadian National Biathlon team practicing. The coach allowed me access to the area to get some shots, this is one.

Also for the Olympics they built a new gondola ride called the Peak to Peak. It connects the two tops of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. It is the longest and highest unsupported gondaola ride in the world, almost two miles long and 1,600 feet off the ground.

Pierces, thank you. That is a nifty new tool and makes for some really cool shots.

MNBruce, those shots are really something. I LOVE the photo of the stream but they are all beautiful. Sounds like you had an interesting trip.

Great use of light on your last two posts!

It's pretty dark in there.

It's an awsome place to visit.

Use flash and you get nothing but dirty shades of gray.

Do not use flash and you get wonderful color.

Use a tripod, turn off the flash, and it's impossible to get a bad photo.
