Thanks all - the Big Sur picture is Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park - the beach itself is supposed to be off limits although I could see footprints in the sand. The overlook is a short hike from the parking lot and I don't think it would be possible to take a bad picture. I think it's supposed to be one of the only beach waterfalls around.
