When I'm not cruising or on vacation, I am an avid bird and wildlife photographer...so most of my favorite non-cruise photos would be from those. I've shot them on everything from P&S to ultrazoom to DSLR over the years...lately my rig is a Sony DSLR-A550 with a big Tamron 200-500mm lens...perfect for getting close to the nature. Here are a few I took over the weekend of the storms that rolled through Western, NC...

 

 

 

It was really fun sitting on the back porch watching the progression of the storms, once they got into the frame I started snapping some long exposures...
