Cost Of Carton Of Cigarettes On Ship

I was just curious...if anyone has taken a cruise recently to the Caribbean and is a smoker how much are they charging these days on the ship for a carton of cigarettes?

I noticed signs last cruise 2/$27.95 on the ship - about the same in port. I never get to take advantage of these great prices - neither place ever has my brand.:o

For smokers this is a plus for Carnival and a minus for Princess who will let you buy cartons of cigarettes in the gift shop but holds them until the end of the cruise like Carnival does bottles of booze.

 

Single packs of select brands can be bought for $3.50 though.

2 cartons of Marlboro 100s last October on the LEGEND - $35 or $37

We just returned from the Legend and cigarettes was 19.95 or two for 34.95. We got 4 cartons in St. Martaan for $10.00 per carton. These were Marbarlos. Hope this helps.

On our cruise on the Triumph last January they had a sale near the end of the cruise...5 cartons for $75, but choices were limited. Also, I believe you are only allowed to bring back 1 carton per person into the U.S.
