Ladies ~ going on a cruise ~ do you pack for DH?

I don't choose what my husband will be taking to wear on vacation...I just do the physical packing. If he were to pack for me he would never know what is needed.

 

When he puts the laundry away I have to hunt for my clothes and unmentionables ;)

Sorry, I was reading the OP to mean choosing as well and I thought that's how most were answering.:)

 

DH folds the laundry, put I put away.;)

No, definitely not. He always takes the same basic things and packs at the last possible moment, whereas I've been ready for weeks. He'll ask my opinion, which I appreciate, and we always look "put together". It's worked for many cruises!:)

No, never. We both pack at the last minute because we are usually working up until the last minute. He's not into clothes, really, so he doesn't bring much anyway. Even though I buy him some very nice clothes. Just once in a while.

Yes, I pack for DH. If I didn't he would pack a pair of jeans and a couple of shirts. I shudder to think of it. Since I'm retired now I don't mind. I also do all the vacation planning and, generally, suggest where to go and what to do there.

I'm with kruisinkat (probably didn't get that quite right, but can't go back right now:o). If I didn't pack DH's suitcase I would NOT be seen with him:eek:. He has no sense of what goes with what and thinks one pair of shorts, one long pants and 2 shirts will do for at least a week. But then he had no clue when I married him a million years ago either:D.
