lulutoo Posted April 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2009 We have an opportunity to do an 18 day Grand Princess cruise that leaves Southampton 9/05 and visits Norway, Iceland,. Shetland Islands, Faroe Islands and Greenland before arrival in New York. As a Floridian with orange juice in my veins , I am concerned that it wll just be too cold for us to enjoy this voyage, both in Ports and while at sea at that time of year. I've been trying to look up ports individually to try to get some idea, but could anyone advise me just how much we'd need to bundle up? I know the scenery would be spectacular. Rare NorbertsNiece Posted April 17, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2009 Think layers as suggested. Northern Europe can be wonderful with mild summer weather in September but it's unpredictable.
