Weather for Sept N. Europe cruise

We have an opportunity to do an 18 day Grand Princess cruise that leaves Southampton 9/05 and visits Norway, Iceland,. Shetland Islands, Faroe Islands and Greenland before arrival in New York.

As a Floridian with orange juice in my veins , I am concerned that it wll just be too cold for us to enjoy this voyage, both in Ports and while at sea at that time of year.

I've been trying to look up ports individually to try to get some idea, but could anyone advise me just how much we'd need to bundle up? I know the scenery would be spectacular.

You can check the temps for last year at

This is for Bergen but check your other cities

Just look for city then scroll down to history put in 2008 & your month

We went in June and I took layers , fleece jacket , rain jacket with hood (too windy for umbrella) light mitts
