AllAboard Posted May 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2009 It's been a while since we cruised in Europe, where they tend to eat dinner a little later than in the U.S. We'll be in the Baltics on a ship with flexible dining. What timeframe is usually the busiest for dinner, so that we can plan to avoid and eat either earlier or later. Thanks.

If you are on NCL, I would suggest showing up before 6:00 PM or after 8:00 -- the waiting time between those hours can be extraordinary.
sandancer Posted May 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2009 The busiest time is usually 6pm if it is mainly US guests. Europeans eat at around 8.30. We always choose open seating if it is available and cannot ever remember having to wait more than 10 mins to be seated.
