Hoopster3145 Posted May 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Just a fun poll i thought i would start. Ranch Steak i dont think will get nominated much hehehe SO WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD ON THE SHIP, AND ALL OF IT IS NOT AN ANSWER! My favorite would be the omelets in the morning, I dont know where else they make them that good around! 1/01 NCL Majesty 1/02 NCL Majesty 1/03 RCCL Brilliance of the Seas 3/03 Carnival Jubilee 8/03 RCCL Navigator Of the Seas 1/04 RCCL Adventure of the Seas 3/04 RCCL Radiance of the Seas 8/15/04 Rhapsody of the Seas 14 DAY LEGEND OF THE SEAS PANAMA CANAL CRUISE (12/26/04) 3/13/05 SPRING BREAK on the Explorer of the Seas
cruisecrasy Posted May 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2004 I used to enjoy the omelets too until I learned they make 'em from powdered eggs like the scrambled - not unique to cruiselines because most restaurants do to - saves $. Only way to get an 'egg' is to order it sunny side, once over easy, poached or boiled. Back on what u asked - I adore the 'escargots' and fancy little potatoes served occas. called 'noisette' I believe. Happy cruisin'!
mariapd719 Posted May 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Are Pina COladas or Chocolate Bananas considered food? Seriously the shrimp cocktail served every night on Princess was awesome! And I love Choc covered strawberries. Enchantment Feb,2002; Monarch Nov,2002; Radiance Nov,2003; Golden Princess Feb 28,2004
royalcaribbeanfan Posted May 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2004 My favorite had to be the chilled fruit soups that were served at night or lunch time in the dining room. The only one I didn't care for too much was the apple and that was only because it was too much like applesauce and not enough like the soups that I had had the other nights. superjerryw Posted May 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 5, 2004 My favorite foods are the mushy pizza, hockey puck hamburgers and ranch steak. I also love to swim with sharks after I have cut myself shaving and I adore walking on broken glass.... Actually, I really like the chilled soups and the lamb chops are usually very good when they have them. I wish they had a real sushi bar on RCCL ships as they do on Celebrity ships. Donuts, is there anything they can't do....
Sophie Posted May 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 5, 2004 My favorite is anything "seafood". Especially the lobster and shrimp cocktail! Sophie Counting down the days till we sail the Rhapsody! 12-5-

Family of 14 Posted May 5, 2004 #11 Share Posted May 5, 2004 I second the ESCARGOT! I love the breads, salads and appetizers more than the entree's and desserts. If I would just learn to stop eating after I am full with those things, maybe I wouldn't have a weight problem. <MARQUEE>Are you sailing on the Mariner 7/18/04?...Click here! or HERE! </MARQUEE> Disney Wonder 3/2000 ~ Disney Magic 9/2000 ~ RCI Vision 2/2001 ~ Carnival Victory 12/2001 ~ Celebrity Millennium 3/2003 ~ RCI Adventure OTS 9/2003 ~ RCI Mariner OTS 7/18/2004 ~ RCI Serenade OTS 9/26/2004

royalcaribbeanfan Posted May 5, 2004 #19 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Tatka, yes they do. I have had all of the above. They served lobster tails on friday night and they had escargot and shrimp cocktail. They also had the chilled fruit soups almost every night. Familyof14, there's always one and lunyma is it for this one. Family of 14 Posted May 5, 2004 #23 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Well you sure have been on a lot of RCCL cruises to hate the food so much. I am pretty picky when it comes to great food. I can only recall one meal that wasn't very good on my two RCCL cruises. It was the lamb in Portofino. Tasteless. The lamb in the dining room, same cruise, was outstanding!

Cruise Miriam Posted May 5, 2004 #25 Share Posted May 5, 2004 While I'll put my vote in for the escargot (except my last cruise on Mariner) and the lobster, I will admit, food is not the highest thing on my list when looking at different cruises.
