  1. Well, that's debatable. He knows he tells horrendous jokes.
  2. He was on Vision in April and when we talked to him he said he was coming back to Vision and would be there for our Aug 17 cruise. When he'd ask for requests, someone would mention a song he didn't know or do which I find strange. Most will do anything. Someone tried to get him to play "a bottle of red" LOL. I was cracking up and told him to play "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" but he said he had to learn it. I told him he needed to know it in Aug.
  3. Yes, if you pay attention you will see what they do with uneaten bread. It is thrown out when they clear tables. Tearing each piece is a weird thing to do.
  4. Most places we eat at wipe menus off after each customer. The fact is, while these are significant sources, most healthy people won't get sick. There's usually not enough of the microorganisms on things to infect someone, but it can happen on occasion. Poor food handling is a bigger issue overall and the cruise lines have that down. We've caught a few colds over the years and at least one time someone admitted several days into the cruise that they had a cold when they boarded and they had shook my DH's hand at dinner the first night. And, my DH caught a cold about 3 days in.
  5. And, this I never get. I don't even lick my fingers in my own home when I'm alone. When people serve cake and do this between slices, I refuse a piece. It's amazing how many people think they can't make others sick and that it's rude of anyone to think so.
  6. Last worker's body was found. As for the controlled explosion, the Dali's crew will shelter in place as the goal is just to break up the piece of the bridge that is sitting on it.
  7. We did the ship's excursion which from what I've heard is a better overall tour. Also, the tour should be as soon as you get to PC and will return in time for all aboard. You can't guarantee that with Uber.
  8. He stated it was tradition after some not so nice person said it's one reason they won't cruise from there. The majority of people who cruise from there are from TX. I'm a Texan by birth and was just back there in Nov. There are TX flags and US flags flown everywhere, large ones. IYKYK.
  9. People report this, but in over 40 cruises, we've never been charged for anything we didn't purchase after the cruise. A couple of bad charges while still onboard, but those are easily fixed. A couple of pool towels and a drink or two, but never any afterward.
  10. It's not really a switch. Just pay off your bill at Guest Services before the cruise is over.
  11. Yes, we have our D+ luggage tags but never use them. They were mailed to us. I've seen lots of reports of them just breaking the first use anyway.
  12. I have our D+ pins and they are still on the cards they came on. I accidentally threw away our D pins on the cruise we received them. Most people do not wear them, although occasionally we see them. We're 33 points from Pinnacle and will only wear those when attending an event. We've always joked that some wear them on their pjs and swimsuits.
  13. Awful defensive lol. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. And, saying I don't know why is my opinion. I didn't realize appetizers were something that needed understanding. BTW, Merion Mom said before I did. Gonna go after her too?
  14. That is not what my post was about, but okay. My opinion is they fill a void and yours is you like them.
  15. Depends on when your dinner is. We eat lunch around 12 and do late seating, so by about 5 or 6 we are hungry for a little something. For early diners, I don't know why they don't just go to dinner. The apps aren't that great, but they fill a void when needed.
