  1. I don't think either of these categories are Reserve now. I know C1 was, but Princess made changes. This website lists all the categories in easy to read format: Sun Princess decks, cabins, diagrams and pics. (cruisedeckplans.com)
  2. No, my loyalty level is fine on the app. And, as I said, this error is intermittent. I would think that if there was account number confusion, it would happen all the time. This is an odd problem, but I've been working around it. If I want to access a cruise on the web-based version, and it generates this error, I just go away and try again later. On a subsequent attempt, it's likely to work just fine.
  3. Traveling from California to Michigan definitely wouldn't be low-key. 🤣
  4. I'm possibly the only person who feels this way, but I actually like coming home from a trip with all dirty laundry. That gives me the opportunity to have a full day of decompressing with a low-key, useful activity.
  5. If we're sailing from San Pedro, we like the Double Tree. They have a shuttle to and from the cruise terminal. If you're driving, they offer a "park and stay" package, which is nice. They give my hubby warm chocolate chip cookies when we check in.
  6. I haven't, but I don't see any problems with it. You have cabins above and below, so probably no worries about noise. I'd book that one.
  7. That's Princess for you - consistently inconsistent.
  8. Most of the time when I go that route, I get an error message that says, "This booking has already been claimed." I don't always get that, just most of the time. I would imagine that's because I've accessed the booking through the app (got nothing else to imagine), but in that case then why don't I always get that error message? If anybody has an alternate explanation for this, I'd surely love to see it.
  9. For a flight that early, I don't think the Princess shuttle is an option. Others may very well say otherwise, but my thinking is that the only way you'll make that flight is to do earliest walk-off and catch a taxi or ride share.
  10. I know that! I assumed that the original flight I'd booked - the one that I wanted and the one we're booked on now - was canceled. The extreme wackiness, to my mind, was when the booking engine showed a total of $1600 something and then jumped to $2700 something at completion. And then went back down to $1180. 😂
  11. This chain of events really takes the cake. We were on a short camping trip over the weekend, and I got an email from Princess saying that we had a flight change. No worries. It happens. When I checked it out this afternoon, they'd changed us to a flight with a shorter connection time in Seattle than I was comfortable with. Flight shopping time. I started that flight shopping with a cost of $1140 and change for the two of us. I looked for replacement flights and found our original flight, with the good connection time, was still showing available. What's up with that? Walked through the engine and ended with a total showing of $1600 something, $504 more than what our charges were for the same flight before they switched up. Doh! Bite the bullet and just change to the flight we wanted. Too bad about the $504, but whatever. Hit the button to make the change and the total price went up to $2700 something! I've never seen EZ Air do that - drastic change of price after having given a total. Went back into change flights and started over. Selected the same flight that I'd chosen before (I know, definition of insanity) and went forward with that. Total price for the two of us was $1180 and change. I'm absolutely certain that all this shopping was done as economy, since the seat selection for the $2700+ was economy seats. So, I'm bewildered by it all, but at least we're back on the flights I wanted without paying an arm and a leg.
  12. We were also on this cruise, and we were one of the lucky ones to be able to sit on our balcony and watch the whole thing. It was spectacular! I haven't received an emailed folio for at least the last two or three cruises. I look at it in the app a few times during the trip and check it the last day. We received the small charge on our credit card quickly, and it was correct.
  13. Ah, it's all tracked by their computer network. What could possibly go wrong? 🤣😂 And I did say "impossible dream."
  14. Since we're all wishing for things we're unlikely to get, here's my very unlikely to get wish. I wish they had a package that offered me only the things that I actually want. This mythological package would include: crew appreciation, wifi, and specialty coffee. Maybe one casual dining and one specialty. Maybe. No alcohol, no silly "premium" desserts, no exercise classes, no reserved seating in shows I'll never go to anyway. Just a short list of the few things at a reasonable price. The impossible dream. 😂🤣
