  1. That's great. Maybe that's another enhancement of the program that's been slipped in. I've had a GTY cabin before and was advised no upgrade program available. It makes sense to be offered it because if you are willing to pay the price then why not? Enjoy. Phil
  2. Do you have a link? I Googled and came up with quite a few different ones. I want to make sure I'm watching the right one. Thanks. Phil
  3. As Toni and Denise say, you need to follow this up. It makes a big difference and is the most significant loyalty change in some time. I booked a cruise in March using free nights and took advantage of this new policy that Tine, the loyalty person on Journey was fully aware of. I only knew because of reading this board. It seems to have been brought in silently by Azamara and I don't understand why. Phil
  4. They can be assigned any time up to the sailing. Regarding the stateroom upgrade, they aren't available to GTY cabins. Phil
  5. I have another friend onboard who is meeting with her and I've sent her a link to this thread. Maybe we can do something, but my confidence is not high. Hope you are having a super time on Quest. Wish I was there. Phil
  6. Odd, it will never change. It keeps coming back. The new CEO gets onboard Quest next week. Maybe someone can make a representation to her? Phil
  7. What a bad attitude. Loyalty works both ways! Phil
  8. That's such a shame (on both counts)๐Ÿ˜” Phil
  9. I'm a bit confused. Category VX doesn't exist any longer. They are all category P1 (either forward or aft facing). Perhaps I'm misunderstanding you. Phil
  10. I use Adbloc and donโ€™t see any ads. Do a Google search on how to block ads on iPhone/iPad. Phil
  11. I'd recognise that bald head anywhere! Milan is such a nice guy. Phil
  12. This happens from time to time and it will continue to happen. Whether we like it or not Azamara are a business and are there to make money. The cruise is more than a year away rather than being in the booking window for flights. It's disappointing, especially if one is planning b2b cruises involving a chartered one, but nothing you can do except maybe push for the existing benefits to be transferred. Not sure how much luck you'd have with that. It seems that most Azamara cruises these days come with an OBC enticement attached. Phil
  13. A real adventure for you. I'd be doing the same as you and staying on the ship. It will indeed be very different. I'm sure the ship will lay on lots of special activities to keep both you and the crew occupied! Phil
  14. I've always found this to be a non-issue and at least you don't get the "book it up as soon as we can" brigade booking all the times and blocking it for others (and probably forgetting and not turning up). This is much fairer and doesn't disadvantage those who book their cruise later. And as you describe, it can be worked out. I have never had an issue getting a time that is suitable. I'm glad they do it the way they do. Phil
  15. You misquoted as me. It was Dr H. I know nothing! Haha Phil
